About me

I'm Azi, a Year 12 student at Woodhouse College (North Finchley), studying Maths, Politics, and German. I've been skateboarding since I was about 6 (took a break, then started again at 12) and it has stayed a big part of my life.

I started teaching around a year ago and now coach local kids weekly, usually aged 6 to 12. For me, skateboarding is more than tricks: it is a way to build confidence, manage nerves, and connect with other people. I love helping beginners feel safe and proud of progress, even when it is just the first push.

Community first: lessons are supportive, calm, and confidence-building. We go step by step.

Where I've skated

I skate in North London and have also skated in places like Paris and Los Angeles. Skateboarding is my way of resetting — it gives me time to think, cool off, and come back focused.

Safety and vibe

  • Helmets strongly recommended (and required for most beginners).
  • We warm up, learn how to fall safely, and build skills gradually.
  • Positive coaching: clear goals, lots of encouragement, no pressure.

Parks I teach at

These are my usual spots — easy to get to and great for learning.

  • Meanwhile — great for beginners and building confidence on features.
  • Royal Oak — solid mix of flat + ramps once basics feel comfortable.

Not sure which park? Tell me your child’s level and what area you’re in and I’ll suggest the best option.
